We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade backend solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java-based technologies, microservices architecture, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while providing technical guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade backend solutions from project initiation through successful production deployment.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
- Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using modern Java technologies.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and code reviews to development teams.
- Ensure highly available, resilient, and scalable solution design with proper capacity planning and monitoring.
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2 and JWT.
- Integrate multiple enterprise systems, APIs, and databases while ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
- Design relational database schemas and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Implement efficient caching strategies using Redis.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards, secure coding practices, SDLC, and operational processes.
- Drive best practices in software engineering, Agile delivery, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to CI/CD implementation, observability, logging, monitoring, and production support.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern software engineering practices.
Job Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or serving as a Technical Lead.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications in production environments.
